Carro Automotive fits GPS trackers and dashcams in vans and other commercial vehicles, such as the Volkswagen Transporter, Mercedes-Benz Vito and Ford Transit. A hidden GPS tracker shows the live location in an app, and a dashcam records damage and incidents. Installation takes place at the workshop at Stavorenweg 4 in Gouda; trackers start at €149.

A hidden GPS tracker sends an alert as soon as the van moves unexpectedly and shows where it is. With an immobiliser, you can block the starter motor remotely from the app. An immobiliser is not possible on hybrid vehicles.

After a collision or parking damage, it is often one person's word against another's. A front and rear dashcam records what happened, including location and speed. In parking mode, recording starts on impact or movement.

Customers want to know when the van will arrive. The app shows planners the live location of every van, so they can give an informed arrival time.

The GPS tracker is hidden inside the van and wired to the vehicle battery, so it never needs charging. A built-in 4G SIM card sends the location to an app for iOS and Android.
The app shows the live location, trip history with route, distance and duration, and alerts for movement or for leaving a set zone. Multiple vans appear in a single overview.
The tracker works throughout Europe via roaming. The SIM card costs €50 per year, with no monthly fees.

A dashcam records continuously while driving and logs location, speed and route with every recording. Add a rear camera and you also see what happens behind the van, for example in a rear-end collision.
In parking mode, the camera only records on impact or movement, so the battery does not run flat. Cables are routed behind the trim, with no loose wires in sight.

You tell us how many vans are involved, which makes and models, and whether you need trackers, dashcams or both. You receive a proposal with planning and pricing; volume pricing is available on request.
The vans come to the workshop at Stavorenweg 4 in Gouda in blocks, 7 days a week by appointment, weekends included. For larger numbers, the work can take place on your premises by arrangement. After handover you receive a per-vehicle overview of what was installed.

Not easily. The tracker is fitted out of sight and cannot be seen. An OBD tracker plugged into the diagnostic port, by contrast, is easy to find and remove.
