    Keeping downtime to a minimum

    A company car in the workshop is a car off the road. Installations are therefore scheduled in blocks, so part of the fleet stays available at all times. Most installations take 1–3 hours.

Installations for company fleets: what is possible

Carro Automotive fits three types of systems in fleet vehicles. A GPS tracker shows the live location, trip history and alerts for every vehicle in a single app. A dashcam records what happens in front of and behind the car, including while it is parked.

With Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, drivers navigate and make calls hands-free through the car's own screen. On many Volkswagen, Seat, Skoda and Audi models this is a software activation on the original screen. Other cars get a module or a new screen.

How a fleet project works

It starts with an intake: how many vehicles, which makes and models, and what needs to be fitted. Based on that, you receive a proposal with planning and pricing. Volume pricing is available on request.

Vehicles come to the workshop at Stavorenweg 4 in Gouda in blocks, 7 days a week by appointment. For larger numbers, the work can also take place on your premises by arrangement.

Every system is tested at handover. You receive a per-vehicle overview of what was installed, and a 2-year warranty applies to product and installation.

Lease cars: the original stays intact

With lease cars, what matters is that the car is returned in good condition. Wiring is concealed and the original system stays intact. A CarPlay module can be removed later without leaving any trace.

A CarPlay software activation can be reversed to the original state. Check with the leasing company in advance which modifications are allowed.

Am I allowed to track the location of company cars?

Is volume pricing available for multiple vehicles?

Yes, volume pricing is available on request. The price depends on the number of vehicles, the makes and models, and the systems you choose. Request a quote for a proposal with planning and pricing.
